With a recommended retail price of NT$19,900, the model is expected to reach a sales volume of 2,000 units in 2008, Epson Taiwan indicated.
Color LaserJet CM1312 and Color LaserJet CM1312nfi (with fax and Internet-connectivity functions) cater to small-business and SOHO (small office home office) users with comparatively low recommended retail prices of NT$13,999 (US$460) and NT$19,999 respectively, HP Taiwan indicated. HP aims to increase its Taiwan market share for color laser MFPs from nearly 50% currently to 60% by the end of 2008, HP Taiwan pointed out.
Packard (HP) on July 14 unveiled its Color LaserJet CM1312 and Color LaserJet CM1312nfi, two new color laser MFP (multi-function peripheral) models, while Seiko Epson on the same day debuted its new business-use inkjet printer B-508DN, both for immediate launch in the Taiwan market, according to HP Taiwan and Epson Taiwan Technology & Trading, respectively.
